M.G. Road vegetable market, nuisance for motorists

Sir,

I have been using the M.G. Road daily to commute towards Chamundi Hill Road. The vegetable market located besides M.G. Road is creating lot of problems to the motorists passing through this stretch, especially during 7 am – 10 am. Lot of people who travel on this road during this time are officials whose offices are located in Siddartha Layout and surrounding areas.

Initially, Police used to be there to clear the vegetable vendors and the vehicles which are haphazardly parked. Now hardly I could see any Police over there to ease the traffic.

Two-wheelers are parked on both sides of the road and the goods autos are also parked haphazardly. In between we come across the stray cattle creating a traffic bottleneck.

Nowadays, these vegetable vendors are selling their produce on the middle of the road.

Hence, on behalf of the hundreds of motorists, I request the authorities to kindly look into the matter and solve this issue as early as possible.
