Grand Master M.S. Thejkumar and Ram S. Krishnan tied with 6.5 points from seven rounds, but the former’s better tie-break score of 27.5 to the latter’s 27, enabled him to clinch the title in the Sri M.N. Krishna Rao Memorial Rapid Chess Tournament 2018, conducted by Mysore Chess Centre at Sri Kanteerava Narashimaraja Sports Club here yesterday.
