Marking the 77th birthday of Mysuru District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Maddikere Gopal, the city’s Maddikere Gopal Abhimanigala Balaga has planned to bring out a collection of poems titled ‘Kannada Vaibhava,’ for which it has invited entries (poems) from interested poets. The poems, not exceeding 20 lines, must be self-composed focussing on Kannada land, language and culture. The entries must be addressed to Ranganath Mysore, Editor, ‘Kannada Vaibhava’ collection of poems, No. 75, E-Block, 15th Cross, J.P. Nagar, Mysuru – 570008.
Likewise, entries (poems) are also invited for bringing out a collection of poems titled ‘Snehasheela,’ focussing on the personality, friendliness, Kannada cause and other personality features of Maddikere Gopal.
The poems must not exceed 20 lines and should be sent to Ranganath Mysore, Editor, ‘Snehasheela’ collection of poems, No. 75, E-Block, 15th Cross, J.P. Nagar, Mysuru – 570008. Last date to send entries to both the poetry collection is Aug. 20. For more details, contact Mob: 98457-91252.
