Mysuru/Mysore: A two-day event, ‘Madhwa-Purandara Namana,’ has been organised in memory of late Pejawar Seer Sri Vishwesha Teertha Swamiji under the auspices of Haridasa Sangeetha Sahityotsava Samithi on Feb. 15 and 16 at Sarada Vilas Centenary Hall here in Krishnamurthypuram.
Programme: Feb. 15- 4 pm to 5 pm: Bhajans; 5 pm to 6 pm: Discourse on ‘Ondu Bari Smarane Salade’ by Pandit Badarayanachar; 6 pm to 6.30 pm: ‘Nudi Namana’; 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm: ‘Dasa Pushpanjali,’ a musical rendition by Dr. Rayachur Sheshagiridas and Vidu. Gargi Shabaraya (Bengaluru).
Feb. 16: 4 pm to 5 pm: Bhajans; 5 pm to 6 pm: A lecture on ‘Dasarendare Purandara Dasarayya’, by Pandit Aniruddacharya; 6 pm to 8.30 pm: A musical rendition, ‘Dasa Gana Manjari’ by V. Anantharaj Mistry (Kalaburagi), V. Keerthan Holla (Mangaluru) and Vidu. Aishwarya Ranganathan (Bengaluru).
