Mysuru: The 50th Annual Day of Mahabodhi School was celebrated at Kalamandira here recently in the presence of Ven. Bhikkhu Ananda Bhanteji, Ven Dhammaratna Bhanteji, Ven. Dhammabodhi Bhanteji and Ven. Shobana Bhanteji.
Theatre Director Dr. B.V Rajaram was the chief guest. MCC Health Officer Dr. D.G. Nagaraj, Kannada and Culture Department Assistant Director Dr. M.D. Sudarshan and Krishna Murthy were the guests of honour.
School CEO Jigmet Wangdus Jothi welcomed and introduced the dignitaries. Education Coordinator and Consultant Venkateshwarlu presented report on the achievements of the academic year 2022-23. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rajaram advised the children to choose the right path and reach their goals in life.
Dr. Nagaraj appreciated the School for the extraordinary health care that was taken during the pandemic as there were zero percentage positive cases from Mahabodhi School. Later, the guests distributed proficiency prizes and cash prizes for the students who excelled in academics. Ananda Bhanteji released Mahabodhi calendar while Dr. Rajaram has released the school’s brochure. Padmini proposed a vote of thanks. Rani compered.
