MAHAN celebrates fourth anniversary

Mysuru: The Fourth anniversary of MAHAN (Mysore  Association of Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Clinics and Diagnostic centres) was celebrated with splendour at Sri Kanteerava Narasimharaja Sports Club (Mysore Sports Club) on Lalitha Mahal Road in city yesterday.

Former head of Mysore Medical College Dr. Basappa, Star of Mysore Editor-in-Chief K.B. Ganapathy and former MAHAN President Dr. Mahesh Kumar were felicitated on the occasion.

Speaking after being felicitated, Dr. Mahesh Kumar said that the society cannot be served by only one individual alone. Pointing out that unity is key for achieving anything big, he opined that concerted efforts will bring quality results and called upon MAHAN to work with unity for the betterment of   the society.

MAHAN President Dr. Javeed Nayeem introduced the new office-bearers of the Association.

Earlier, a general meeting of MAHAN was held at a private hotel, where the Association’s calendar of activities for the year 2020-22 was discussed.

The meeting decided to create public awareness on health issues and to organise free health camps and seminars on  medical topics.
