Mysuru: The Annual get-together of Maharani’s Science College Alumni Association was held recently at the College premises.
Inaugurating the programme, retired Director of Oriental Research Institute (ORI) Dr. H.P. Devaki shared her pleasant experiences as an alumnus of the College and advised students to set high goals.
Delivering the keynote address, Association President Dr. D. Sheela Kumari said that the Association was awarding many prizes for the students and added that many people had contributed funds to the institute endowment prizes.
Manasagangothri Zoology Professor Dr .B.V. Shyamala spoke on her student days at the College.
Indira Nayar contributed Rs.25,000 to the Association.
College Principal S.B. Shanthappanavar presided.
Association Members presented a cultural programme.
