Marking Gandhi Jayanti, the District Administration, in association with MCC and Department of Information and Public Relations, will be organising a Mahatma Gandhi prayer meeting at Town Hall in city at 8.30 am on Oct. 2. District in-Charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa will inaugurate the event in the presence of CM Siddaramaiah and Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy. MPs Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar and Sunil Bose will be the chief guests. Chamaraja MLA K. Harishgowda will preside.
