Make Sayyaji Rao Road safer for motorists

Sir,

During the Dasara period, the divider on Sayyaji Rao Road is temporarily removed to facilitate the smooth passage of the procession. I request the City Police Commissioner to reconsider reinstating the divider between Ayurveda College Circle and the Dhanvantri Road (Bata Showroom) junction.

We are witnessing frequent traffic violations, especially from two-wheelers and autos, entering the one-way road from Ayurveda Circle to Dhanvantri Road. This poses significant traffic hazards to those entering from Dhanvantri Road to Sayyaji Rao Road.

Additionally, the concrete dividers in this area are causing difficulties for four-wheelers parked on Sayyaji Rao Road. The road becomes narrow, making it challenging to take out parked vehicles due to the continuous flow of traffic on both sides.

In the light of these issues, I urge the authorities to rethink and reconsider the placement of the divider in front of K.R. Hospital and Cauvery Emporium on Sayyaji Rao Road, in the interest of public safety and convenience.
