10 days after she went missing

Malavalli: The body of a woman advocate who went missing 10 days ago, was found in a highly decomposed state at a farm at Talagawadi in Malavalli Taluk on Wednesday.

V. Madalambika (40) of Madahalli is the deceased. Madalambika , who practised as an advocate at Malavalli JMFC Court, was married to one Sashidhar of Hosa Hemmige 10 years ago. However, she got separated from her husband a few years ago and stayed at Madahalli in Malavalli Taluk, it is learnt.

Madalambika after getting down from an auto at Talagawadi at 6 pm on Feb.25, was talking to her daughter at a nearby shop when she received a phone call. She then left in an auto telling her daughter that she was going back to Malavalli on some work. But as Madalambika did not return home, her sister Rudramma lodged a missing complaint with Malavalli Rural Police.

After she went missing 10 days ago, her highly decomposed body was found at the farmland of one Chandru of Talagawadi.

Malavalli Rural Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
