Man assaulted, threatened for asking to return money paid for site

Mysuru: A man was allegedly assaulted and threatened for life by two persons for asking to return the money he had paid for a site.

While the person, who was assaulted, has been identified as Bangara Nayaka, those who assaulted and threatened him have been identified as Syed Nizam Ali and Imran of Udayagiri.

According to the complaint, Bangara Nayaka, on July 5, 2006, had paid Rs. 2.34 lakh through cheque to Mysore Home Developers Pvt. Ltd. for a site and had entered into an agreement.

But as he did not get a site, Bangara Nayaka went to Mysore Home Developers and asked them to return his money following which Syed, Imran and others assaulted him besides threatening him with life.

A complaint in this regard has been registered at Udayagiri Police Station.
