Man bludgeoned to death

Police arrest two in 24 hours

Mysore/Mysuru: Nazarbad Police, on Feb. 15, have arrested two persons accused in bludgeoning a man to death at a vacant place adjacent to Tavarekere in Tavarekatte at the foot of Chamundi Hill.

During interrogation, the Police came to know that the two accused and deceased Nithin were friends and a fight had taken place over an iPhone a few days back.

On Feb. 14, Nithin and the two accused had consumed liquor during which the issue of the iPhone again cropped up following which the two accused took Nithin to the vacant place next to Tavarekere and bludgeoned him to death.

DCP (Law & Order) M. Muthuraj and Devaraja Sub-Division ACP Shanthamallappa guided Nazarbad Inspector K. Santosh, Lashkar Inspector P.P. Santosh, Alanahalli Inspector T.D. Satishkumar, Sub-Inspector Vyshali and staff Madhukesh, B.V. Prakash, S. Satishkumar, S. Niranjan, B.D. Santoshkumar, Kiran Rathod, Abhishek, Mallikarjun, Mohammed Ismail, Shivaprasad, Chethan, Chinnappa, Manjunath, Lalesaab Nadaf and Technical Division’s Kumar in the nabbing operation.
