An incident of a man climbing a Tamarind tree and dying after falling from it has been reported near Suburban Bus Stand here on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Puttaswamy Gowda (40), a resident of Kalyanagirinagar in city.
It is reported that Puttaswamy, who had climbed a Tamarind tree opposite Suburban Bus Stand, slipped and fell from the tree, thus injuring himself seriously.
Though he was rushed to K.R. Hospital, he breathed his last after failing to respond to the treatment, said Nazarbad Police, who have registered a case in this regard.
