Death note found after 13 days by deceased’s brother
Mysore/Mysuru: A man ended his life following harassment for Rs. 50 lakh cash and a house by his wife and her brother and Devaraja Police, following a directive from the Court, have registered a case. A death note written by the deceased was found by his brother 13 days later.
On Mar. 20, Dinesh Kumar, brother of Suresh Kumar Jain, a resident of Lakshmi Vilas Road in city, had committed suicide in the house and no one in the family knew the reason for Dinesh to take the extreme step.
But 13 days later, after the family members conducted a religious ceremony, a death note, written by deceased Dinesh was found while cleaning his room, said Suresh Kumar Jain in his complaint to the Police.
In his complaint, Suresh has stated that his brother Dinesh’s wife Shwetha and her brother Kavil V. Jain, were torturing him (Dinesh) to give them Rs. 50 lakh cash and a house and unable to bear the torture, Dinesh ended his life leaving the death note behind.
Devaraja Police, who have registered a case under IPC Section 306, 384, 109 and 34, are investigating.
