Man hit by lorry, succumbs to injuries at hospital

Mysore/Mysuru: A 55-year-old man, who was hit by a lorry on Sunday near Pandavapura and admitted to a private hospital in city, has succumbed to injuries at the hospital today morning. The deceased is Gopal, son of Dyavaiah of Haralahalli in Pandavapura taluk.

Gopal, who was tending his cattle, was driving them home from Pandavapura side when the lorry (KA-11-B-9886) hit Gopal from behind causing serious injuries to him. He was admitted to a private hospital in city, where he breathed his last this morning. 

Post-mortem was conducted at MMC&RI mortuary today and the body was handed over to the family members. Pandavapura Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
