Man leaves wife at Railway Station, disappears with sister-in-law !

Mysuru:  A man has allegedly left his wife at City Railway Station here and has disappeared with sister-in-law. The incident has come to light lately.

H.R. Abhishek, 28, is the one who left his wife Reshma Jogalekar and disappeared with his 22-year-old sister-in-law Roopa Jogalekar, all from Mangaluru.

The incident

Abhishek had married Reshma, who had lost her husband and was living with her one-year-old son. After marriage, the couple had left Mangaluru and had come to Nagamangala where they were working at a hotel.

Reshma’s sister Roopa, who was married, had come to Nagamangala and the couple along with Roopa, who wanted to go to Mangaluru, had come to Mysuru Railway Station on Jan.11 at about 4 pm. As the train to Mangaluru was scheduled to depart in the night, the trio was waiting in the Railway Station.

Meanwhile, Reshma, who wanted to freshen up, left for the toilet and by the time she came back, Abhishek had disappeared along with Roopa. Reshma then searched for them in the Railway Station but in vain and also called them on their mobile phones which were switched off.

Reshma then launched a search for them at Roopa’s husband’s place and other places but in vain. On Jan. 22, she approached City Police Commissioner Dr. A. Subrahmanyeswara Rao and narrated the incident to him, who in turn summoned Mandi Inspector and directed him to register a case.

Mandi Police, who have registered a case, are investigating and have urged the public to contact Mandi Police Station on Ph: 0821-2418313 or Police Control Room on Ph: 0821-2418339, if they have any information about Abhishek  and Roopa.
