Mysuru: A person who was practising rifle shooting in public and sending panic waves among them has come to light late in the city. The Police said that Ganesh Prasad, a resident of Vidyaranyapuram, had been practising his target shooting in public.
They said, around three days back, the bullet fired from the riffle missed a car on JLB Road. One of Ganesh’s friends, who had recorded the shooting, had uploaded the same in a social media platform. The City Police, who noticed the video, arrived at Ganesh Prasad’s residence this morning and conducted a preliminary investigation. The Police said he used a SBBL rifle for his practise. They were still at his residence at the time of going to the Press.
