Mandya Head Master Murder Case: Cops arrest two more for supari killing

Bharathingar – K.M. Doddi Police have arrested two more accused in the Head Master Shashibhushan murder case which was reported on Mar. 31 at Maddur. The accused have been identified as Santosh and Nanjunda, both residents of Gandhinagar in Mysuru.

The Police on Apr. 5 had arrested Suresh, Mahadeva and Venkatesh, who were produced before the Court and remanded to Judicial custody. Later, the Police sought the custody of Suresh and Mahadeva from the Court and subjected them for further interrogation during which the duo spilled the beans about Santosh and Nanjunda which led to their arrest. The Police also recovered the lethal weapons, cars and mobile phones. Shanthamma and her daughter Navyashree, the two prime accused in the case, have already been arrested and remanded to judicial custody.

Speaking to Star of Mysore, Dy.SP K.T. Matthew Thomas said that the accused who allegedly murdered Shashibhushan on Mar.31 had been arrested within a week on the incident.

Adding the supari killers were nabbed after forming two separate teams, he said that it was impossible for the accused in murder and dacoity cases to escape.

CPI Shiva Mallaiah, Halaguru PSI B.S. Sridhar, K.M. Doddi PSI Ayiian Gowda, Arakere PSI Azaruddin, Srirangapatna Rural PSI Puneeth, ASI Govindappa, and staff Jayaramu, Gayazuddin Khan, Mahadeva, Jayaramegowda, Manjunath and Ravi took part in the nabbing operation.
