Bengaluru: The Department of School Education and Literacy has extended the deadline to file application related to transfer of Government Primary and High School teachers under the categories of ‘request and mutual’ till March 4 against the previous deadline of Jan.30.
A detailed revised schedule related to transfers under request and mutual will be announced soon, while all other guidelines announced on Dec. 26, 2022 will continue to be in force as it is, according to the Commissioner for School Education and Literacy.
Preliminary measures are being taken to consider excess teachers. The teachers can upload their details in Shikshaka Mitra software till Feb. 4. However, Feb. 8 will be the last date for teachers to upload or do corrections in documents related to their preference or exemption (from transfer). Besides, Feb. 10 will be the last date to re-verify the genuineness of medical certificate and validate the documents uploaded in the software in accordance with the documents submitted by the teachers
However, there seems to be many impediments in smooth conducting of transfer process as the annual exams of class eight to nine will begin from March 9, followed by preparing students for SSLC exams.
