Chikkade C. Maridevegowda (78), senior Congress leader and former President of TAPCMS, passed away yesterday following a heart attack.
He had also served as the Vice-President of PSSK Factory and was a close associate of former CM S.M. Krishna.
He leaves behind his wife, one daughter, three sons, son-in-law H. Thyagaraju, former Zilla Panchayat member and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at Chikkade village yesterday afternoon.
