Mysore/Mysuru: On the occasion of Independence Day, Masjid-e-Mubeen, N.R. Mohalla, had organised a programme to felicitate SSLC and PUC toppers here yesterday.
Prof. Syed Akheel Ahmed, former Vice-Chancellor of Yenepoya University, distributed prizes to the toppers.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Syed Akheel Ahmed said that self-discipline is very much important for students as nowadays they have to be best among others. Only through education, one can achieve in life.
Moulana Mohamed Ismail, Principal, Huda Public School, who also spoke, advised the students to work hard for the development of our nation.
The felicitation programme began with the recitation of holy verses from Quran by Moulana Hafiz o Qari Ajaz Ahmed, Imam of Masjid-e-Mubeen, followed by Naath-e-Shariff by Moulvi Mohamed Aslam, Nazim, Maktab, Masjid-e-Mubeen.
Moulana Ajaz Ahmed, Mohamed Zubair, CEO, Z-Mark Group, Social worker Mumtaz Ahmed, Javeed Geelani, President, Baseer Ahmed Khan, Secretary, Sartaj Ahmed, Joint Secretary of Managing Committee of Masjid e Mubeen, and others were present on the occasion.
Vice-President of the Managing Committee Ibrahim Khaleel proposed a vote of thanks. Roohulla compered the programme.
