Mysuru: Mata Amritanandamayi, fondly known as Amma all over the globe, is arriving in Mysuru for the Brahmastanam Varshikotsava to be held on Feb. 19 and 20 at Mata Amritanandamayi Mutt premises in Bogadi 2nd Stage.
The programme begins at 6 pm tomorrow. Higher Education and District-in-charge Minister G.T. Devegowda will be the chief guest. Tourism Minister S.R. Mahesh and Mysore University Vice-Chancellor Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar will be present.
Bhajans, Satsang and Dhyana will take place followed by Amma’s darshan, where she individually blesses everyone with a hug. Maha Ganapathi homa, Maha Sudharshana homa, Maha Mrutyunjaya homa, Navagraha homa, dawn to dusk chanting of Sri Lalita Sahasranama will also take place at the Mutt. Devotees including foreigners are expected to participate in the 2-day celebrations.
