Mysuru: In a crackdown on matka gambling, the CCB Police have arrested a matka kingpin in city.
The arrested has been identified as Naveed Ahmed, 43, of K.N. Pura in city.
Acting on a tip off, the CCB sleuths raided the matka den close to a hotel on Harish Chandra Ghat Road, K.N. Pura, coming under Udayagiri Police limits on Feb.15 and arrested Naveed Ahmed. The Police seized Rs.11,500 cash, a cell phone and other materials from him, according to a release issued by the PRO, City Police Commissioner’s, Office, Mysuru.
