MBA Graduation Day at GSSSIETW

Mysore/Mysuru: Graduation Day ceremony of MBA 2023 batch students of GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru, was held on May 16 at its M. Govinda Rao Memorial Hall.

Chief guest of the ceremony, Nagaraja Gargeshwari, President and Director, Automotive Axles Ltd., Mysuru, spoke about the power of women to empower the nation.

He appreciated GSSSIETW for imparting quality education and also took cognisance of the objectives of the institute to empower women.

He also emphasised on the importance of taking good care of health and stressed that mental health and physical health are equally important.

“We should be grateful to our parents as they have given birth to us, nurtured us, taught us, with a good upbringing and dedicated their entire life for us,” said Nagaraja.

He congratulated all the students for their achievements  and acknowledged the support rendered by the teachers, parents and well-wishers for helping them in securing the degree and to reach their goals.

The degree certificates were distributed to the students by the dignitaries, followed by administering of oath to the successful students, by K. Priya, Assistant Professor, Department of MBA.

The event was presided by Vanaja B. Pandit, Hon. Secretary, GSSS, Mysuru.

In her presidential address, Vanaja Pandit advised the students to show gratitude towards their parents and teachers.

Dr. M. Jagadeesha , Professor and Head, Department of MBA, GSSSIETW, Mysuru, welcomed the gathering. Dr. Shashidhar S. Mahantshetti, Associate Professor, Department of MBA, introduced the chief guest to the gathering. Dr. R.S. Ashok Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of MBA, GSSSIETW, proposed a vote of thanks. Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, Mysuru and HODs and faculty members were present.
