MCC calls tender for drinking water, UGD works planned at Rs. 15 crore

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has invited tenders for 12 works proposed to be taken up at an estimated cost of Rs. 15.18 crore in the city. Among the total works, four works will be taken up under 15th Finance Commission grants and eight under MCC funds.

MCC has initiated to take up drinking water and Underground Drainage (UGD) related works in eastern part of the city, under its Drinking Water and UGD Section.

 The tender called for Rs. 3.35 crore works include fixing valve after linking the pipeline from Water Reservoir from German Press Station; construction of building and installation of machinery at Devanur Station and laying of MS pipeline up to KEB Office, Jyothi Nagar.

The tender called for Rs. 2.33 crore works include construction of 10-lakh litre capacity overhead water tank near Bodhi Satva Park, KHB Colony, First Stage, Kuvempunagar to supply drinking water to parts of Mysuru; The tender called for Rs. 4.3 crore works include laying of 450 MM pipeline network from 600 MM UGD line near MUDA Employees Layout up to Vasu Layout and Ramakrishnanagar ‘I’ block and maintenance of sewage water by constructing the machinery on Adhichunchanagiri Main Road, Pooja Bakery Junction and other localities.
