Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has issued a notification to appoint 252 Pourakarmikas under direct recruitment, as sanctioned by the Government under Karnataka Municipal Corporations (KMC) rule.
The Pourakarmikas currently serving MCC under direct pay, daily wage, welfare and equal pay for equal work, for a minimum period not less than 2 years and since this rule came into effect, are eligible for recruitment, with educational qualification not applicable to them.
The applicant should have attained minimum of 18 years and maximum of 55 years, at the time of notification issued by the Government, with the pay band fixed between Rs.17,000 and Rs. 28,950. The applications are being received since June 18 and the last date to submit the application is July 18.
The application format can be obtained from MCC main office on New Sayyaji Rao Road and the duly filled in applications should be submitted to the MCC Commissioner, who is also the Chairman of Selection and Direct Recruitment Authority, by attaching the photocopies of certificates related to education, age and reservation obtained from competitive authority and attested by Section Heads, to the application to be submitted by 5.30 pm of July 18.
However, there is no provision to submit the application through post and the applications received after the stipulated period and time won’t be considered. For further details log on to MCC website http://mysurucity.mrc.gov.in or the main office of MCC, according to the notification.
