In a joint initiative, Mysuru City Corporation, Department of School Education and Literacy and NGOs, are conducting a survey on Mobile App to identify out-of-school children, from July 18 to 31 in the city. The survey intends to cover the number of children who got admitted to school and discontinued education and those who have not taken admission to school.
In this wake, a team led by Revenue Officers has been constituted in each of nine MCC Zonal Office limits comprising 65 Wards of the city. The team includes Revenue Inspectors, Health Inspectors and NGO volunteers. They will be going door-to-door in every Ward and recording the findings related to out-of-school children in the age group of 6 to 16 years through Mobile App. They shall be also uploading the details related to Ration Card, Aadhaar Card and Student Achievement Tracking System (SATS ID) on the App. The public are requested to cooperate with enumerators, by providing relevant documents during survey, stated MCC Commissioner Ashaad-Ur-Rahman Shariff in a press release.
