MCC seals six shops

Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) officials, who raided shops in MCC Zone-6 limits recently, have sealed six shops which did not have valid licence to conduct business and had not paid Property Tax.

The MCC officials led by Zone-6 Commissioner Manjunath, raided shops on K.T. Street in Ward No. 41 and found six shops operating without valid licence and had not paid the tax. The officials sealed the six shops and asked the shop owners to immediately obtain trade licence and pay the taxes.

Manjunath said that notices were served to these shop owners earlier and as there was no response from them, the shops were sealed.

MCC Zone-6 Revenue Officer J. Asha, Assistant Revenue Officer M.S. Siddaraju, Health Inspector G.V. Yogesh, Kantharaj and others took part in the drive.
