Mysuru: Even as MCC authorities have stepped-up the drive to recover property tax dues from defaulting citizens, the MCC Zone-4 Office seems to have topped in Tax collection, by collecting a whopping Rs.8.76 crore in the three-and-a-half months period from April 1 to July 17.
The staff of MCC Zone-4, led by Zonal Assistant Commissioner V. Priyadarshni, has collected Rs.8,75,41,083 as Property Tax from owners of 12,765 properties located in MCC Ward Nos. 23, 30, 31, 33 and Vijayanagar 3rd Stage in the period between April 1 and July 17.
Revenue Officer M.S. Satish, ARO M. Prasad, MCC Revenue Inspectors A. Devaraj, D.S. Ashok, D. Manu, K.M. Manjunath and Razak took part in the drive.
