MCC’s street vending zones: Submit objections by July 13

Mysore/Mysuru: Setting in motion the setting up of vending zones at seven different places in the city, the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has invited objections, if any, from members of the public for the establishment of these vending zones. 

The MCC, which has issued a public notification in this regard dated July 5, has asked the citizens, to submit their objections, if any, in writing along with supporting documents by July 13. The objections received after the deadline will not be accepted and the MCC will go ahead with the construction of the vending zones as ordered by the Government, according to the notification.

The seven spots where the vending zones that are proposed to come up are — Left side of the footpath on the stretch from Ballal Circle to Hemmige Circle on New Kantharaj Urs Road with KSGH Music and Performing Arts University premises at the Northern side, right side of the footpath on the stretch from Ballal Circle to Hemmige Circle on New Kantharaj Urs Road with Mayura Complex at the Southern side, in front of Swimming Pool Road in Saraswathipuram, Second Main Road, off Vijayanagar High Tension Road (from Sub-Registrar Office side towards Vidyavardhaka Engineering College side), the vacant space belonging to the MCC in front of St. Joseph Hospital along Mysuru-Bengaluru road at Bannimantap, near P&T Quarters on Bilal Masjid Road in N.R. Mohalla and the vacant space belonging to MCC along the service road of T. Narasipur Main Road.
