MCDCC Bank launches mobile banking

Mysuru/Mysore: Mysore- Chamarajanagar District Cooperative Central (MCDCC) Bank has launched its mobile banking application to facilitate its customers with an online banking service, at its main branch in city yesterday.

MCDCC Bank President G.D. Harish Gowda launched the app and said, “In an effort to provide banking services at the click of a button, we have launched this mobile app with more than 20 types of services including railway booking, water and cooking gas bill payment available on it. A customer can do a maximum of Rs. 2 lakh transaction per day through the app.”

Speaking about the growth of the bank, Harish Gowda said, “In the beginning, the bank’s share investment was Rs.5,136.17 lakh and now it has gone up to Rs.5,351.27 lakh with an increase of Rs.215.10 lakh. At present, the branch has a total deposit of Rs.9,307.63 lakh, with earnings recorded at Rs.479.49 lakh.” 

Further, Harish Gowda said, “The State Government has  decided to bring all Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS) under an umbrella body for transparency and has issued an order in this regard. Banking transactions will be digitalised to stop corruption and misuse of public money.” 

MCDCC Bank CEO D.B. Lingannaiah, General Manager Vinod Kumar, NABARD Manager Manikandan, Bank staff Satish, Palaiah, Sridhar and Chandrashekar were present.
