KSRTC FC, Mysuru, with seven points (2 wins, 1 draw), in their three super-league games won the MDFA ‘C’ Division Football title 2017-18 for the ‘Chirag Trophy’ at the University Football Grounds here yesterday.
Govt. Text Book Press FC, Mysuru, with 6 points (2 wins, 1 loss) from their three games secured the runners-up spot.
Both the teams earned promotion to the ‘B’ Division.
Special prizes were given away to the following players: Best Goal-Keeper: Andre Agassi (Govt.Text Book Press FC), Best Defender: Nandan (Nethaji FC), Best Mid-Fielder: Varun (KSRTC FC), Best Forward: David (Govt. Text Book Press FC).

The prizes were given away to the winners by freelance sports journalist C.K. Muralidharan during the prize distribution ceremony held at the University Grounds last evening.
