Mysuru: The following swimmers, who are trained at the Global Sports Association (GSA), J.P. Nagar Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar Swimming Pool, Mysuru, have excelled in the CBSE National-level Swimming Competition held at Bhubaneswar, Odissa, from Oct. 11 to 14:
Subrahmanya Jeevamsh, an 8th standard student of DAV School, J.P. Nagar, Mysuru – Gold medal in 100m Butterfly, gold in 200m Butterfly and silver in 200m Individual Medley.
Rutva, a Class 5 student of St. Thomas School – Gold in 50m Butterfly and silver in 100m Free Style.
Sanvi, a 5th standard student of DAV Public School – Silver in 200m Individual Medley.
Over 500 competitors from different countries including Dubai and Oman participated in the swimming competition.
