Medicos shine in sports events

Mysuru:  The JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research has bagged prizes in various Inter-Medicos Tournaments organised by various institutions recently.

Both the men and women Chess teams of the Academy emerged winners in Chess Contest organised Christian Medical College, Vellore. The men’s chess team also won in the competition organised by Mysore Medical College & Research Institutions, Mysuru.

The men’s Futsal team of the Academy emerged winners in the Tournaments organised by Mysore Medical College & Research Institutions, Mysuru and Mandya Institute of Medical Science, Mandya.

The men’s Badminton team emerged runners-up in the Tournament organised by Mysore Medical College & Research Institutions, Mysuru.

The women’s Throwball team emerged runners-up in the tournament organised by Mysore Medical College & Research Institutions, Mysuru, while the Basketball Women bagged 

runners-up trophy in the event organised by St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, Bengaluru.

The Academy Cricket team (Sixers) won the Tournament organised by Christian Medical College, Vellore.

Futsal Men: Nithin, Shahin, Arif, Arshaq, Dr. Khinvraj, Adil, Shekar, Shakeeb, Dr. Siddharth, Vyshak and Rizwan. 

Throwball Women: Manisha, Hitha, B. Krishna, Gayathri, Ananya and Hrithika. 

Basketball Women: Dr. Gowthami, Riya, Vidushi, Durga, Krishna, Shubhangi, Vrishti, Annmar, JubyAnn, Pranithi, Ankita, Krishna,  Anusha, Simran Dhankar, Vatsala, Anannika, Simran and Saluja. 

Cricket Men (Sixers): Dr. Abhishek KaIra, Dr. Mayur, Mr. Sauruv, Parth Joshi, K. Mayank and Abhishek Aggarwal.
