Mysuru: A mega Job Mela will be organised by Indian National Congress, Nanjangud Unit, as part of Gandhi Jayanti celebrations, on Oct.6 at Vidyavardhaka Grounds near Hullahalli Circle in the town from 10 am to 4 pm.
Speaking to press persons at Pathrakartara Bhavan in city yesterday, former MLA Kalale Keshavamurthy informed that the All India Congress Committee (AICC) Secretary P.C. Vishnunath will inaugurate the programme at 10 am. Chamarajanagar MP R. Dhruvanarayan will preside. MLA Dr. Yathindra Siddharamaiah will be chief guest.
He said more than 100 private companies operating from Mysuru and Bengaluru, ranging from insurance, finance and marketing, Industries and medical sector will participate in the Job Mela. Appointment letters will be issue for the selected candidates on the spot.
Job seekers, who have passed seventh standard, SSLC, PUC, ITI, Diploma, all under-graduates and post-graduates, can take part, he said.
