Melukote: Aprameyam Narasimha Iyengar (72), Paricharaka of Sri Cheluvanarayanaswamy Temple at Melukote, passed away yesterday.
He leaves behind his wife, one son, three brothers, two sisters and a host of relatives and friends.
Narasimha Iyengar was serving as the Paricharaka of the Temple for many decades and was involved in the maintenance of Nammalvar, Sudarshanalvar and other Sannidhis.
Last rites were held at Melukote, according to sources.
