Irked over this, the drunk men barged into the vehicle and began to abuse a woman in the vehicle using foul language and also allegedly assaulted her. One Paramesh, who went to her rescue, was assaulted with a beer bottle by them. They later assaulted driver Karthik, it is learnt.
