Mysuru: The 39th annual felicitation function of Mysore District Bhavasara Kshatriya Graduates Association was held at Sri Vittala Rukmini Convention Hall in city recently.
Speaking after inaugurating the programme, Yaduveer Wadiyar stressed upon the need of protecting the environment by conducting more and more tree planting activities and also called upon Mysureans to make the city plastic-free so that the coming generation should be handed over a clean and pollution-free city.
Later, SSLC, PUC students and toppers of the degree courses like B.Com, B.Sc, BCA and Post-Graduates in M.Sc, M.Com and MCA of the community were honoured with cash prize and also fresh graduates from all the disciplines were felicitated. Scholarships were distributed to the students of ITI and technical courses.
Association President K.P. Kumar welcomed the gathering and Immediate Past President Shankar Rao Anchalkar proposed a vote of thanks.
