Mysuru/Mysore: MICA College, Mysuru, recently organised MICA Fest 2020 at their college campus and at Mysore Socials.
Intra-collegiate academic activities such as demonstration on paper production using waste and production of handmade paper by the participants, an observational research in Shivarampet on the paper product dealers and customers, crossed crosswords, uncommon common sense, incomplete stories and product selling round, were held. A team led by Shreya Sujith of B.Com Sem II, with Andrea Soni, Snehal Alexander of PU II Commerce, Absaar of BBA Sem II and Krithika of PU I Science emerged winners.
The inter-collegiate cultural evening of MICA Fest 2020, hosted at Mysore Socials, had a lot of events from various colleges including Fashion Shows and Group dances, Mime, Beat boxing and Singing.
Team Sinisters won the Fashion show event and Josephites won the Group dance. Cash prizes worth Rs. 15,000 and Rs.10,000 were awarded to the winners. MICA’s Kupya Chele team which had won fashion show on MICA’s Traditional and Cultural Day was awarded Rs. 3,000 cash prize on the occasion.
Elvis Arnold, a model from Bengaluru, Palash Bidappa of Palash Studio, Sparsha Shenoy, Founder, Kalasparsha and Tulsi Kushalappa, Founder, TKC Company were the judges for the cultural events.
