The MICA (Mysore Institute of Commerce and Arts) students won the Overall Championships at the College Fests of JSS Women’s College Saraswathipuram, Mysuru and Vidyavardhaka First Grade College, Seshadri Iyer Road, for the second consecutive year. This is MICA’s third over-all championship for the season.
Vidyavardhaka’s Vidwat’17 Fest Winners: Stage Craft (Chill Spill) 1st place – Samanvitha, Anirudh, Adi Ganesh, Yashank, Chinmayi, Vrishab, Ayush and Yosuff Pasha; Finance 1st place – Ayush Darla and Yosuff Pasha; IT Gaming 1st place – Ameen and Shaffan, 2nd Place – Mifzal and Faizan
JSS Women’s Aavishkaar’17 Fest Winners: HR 1st place – Chinmayi, Nayana Bharadwaj and Virshab Kumar; Best Manager – Samanvitha; Business Strategy 2nd place – Sahana, Ayush Darla and Nayan.
All the winners were awarded trophies and certificates.
Cauvery College Essay Competition: Samanvitha won first prize in the essay writing competition conducted by Cauvery College, Kuvempunagar, on the topic ‘Advantages and disadvantages of Demonetisation.’ She was awarded certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 3,000.
