A workshop on ‘Millets for Health and Healing’ has been organised at Sri Ranga Rao Memorial School for Differently-abled, Metagalli, in city on Sunday (Sept. 29) at 10.30 am. The workshop has been organised by Parents in Action For Development, Health and Adaptation (PADHA). Padma Shree Dr. Khadar Valli Dudekula will be delivering the keynote address on ‘Lifestyle Adaptations and Dietary Changes for Better Health and Healing.’
Saswati Singh, a special educator and activist for the rights of persons with disabilities and mother of a 36-year-old severely autistic adult, will be focusing on ‘Millets based Dietary Interventions for Special Needs Children.’ The programme includes talk on health benefits of millets consumption by Dr. Khadar and interaction on ‘Millet-based Dietary Interventions for Children with Food Allergies and Special Needs’ by Saswati Singh.
