Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of Business Administration, Christ College, Mysuru, had organised Minerva, a National Conference titled “Trends in Management” in the college auditorium recently.
The Conference, inaugurated by Dr. Hema Patil, Associate Professor and Programme Coordinator, VTU, Regional Centre, Mysuru, was attended by eminent academicians, faculty members and students from reputed educational institutions.
In technical sessions there were three tracks: Financial management, Human Resource management and Marketing management and a total of 34 papers were presented.
The panellists for the conference were Dr. Shivaprasad, Professor in Teresian College for the Human Resource track; Dr. K. Lakshmisha, Professor in Maharani’s College for the Marketing track and Dr. S. Manju, Professor in Maharani’s College for the Finance track.
Christ College Principal Rev.Fr. P.D. Biju presided. Amrutha compered. Jibin Jose welcomed. Muralikrishnan proposed a vote of thanks. HoD and Conference Chair N. Archana, faculties and students of the Department were present.
Shreedhar Bhat, Founder, World Vision Softex, delivered the valedictory address. Best paper was awarded in each track.
