Minister Sait urges officials to expedite N.R. Constituency works

Mysuru: Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait, who represents N.R. Constituency in city, has asked the officials to expedite the ongoing works.

Addressing a progress review meeting of N.R. Constituency works at Jaladarshini Guest House here yesterday, Sait asked the officials to provide Ashraya houses to the shelterless and to expedite all infrastructure works such as sanitation, drainage, power connection, etc.

Pointing out that street vendors doing business near the Palace have come to the streets after eviction, the Minister directed the MCC authorities to provide alternative space for carrying out their business.

Urging the Police to maintain Law & Order without troubling innocent youths, he said that the Police must take measures for maintaining communal harmony.

Instructing the officials to rectify the anomalies in the distribution of ration cards, he asked them to focus on providing better civic amenities and improving basic infrastructure in all areas of the constituency.

DC D. Randeep, City Police Commissioner Dr. A. Subrahmanyeswara Rao, DCP N. Vishnuvardhana, MCC Commissioner G. Jagadeesha, Superintending Engineer Suresh Babu and other officials attended the meeting.
