Bengaluru: Days after former DG&IGP Shankar Bidari had alleged a multi-crore Medical seat-blocking scam, Medical Education Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar said that he will look into the allegation if it is found to be genuine.
Speaking to press persons here yesterday, Dr. Sudhakar, replying to a question on Shankar Bidari’s allegation of a multi-crore medical seat blocking scam in Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, said that the former top cop could have spoken to him first instead of taking to the social media to level the allegations.
Maintaining that anyone can use the social media for levelling allegations against somebody, the Minister said that Bidari is yet to lodge a formal complaint with the Department regarding his allegations. Also, Bidari has not come up with supporting documents so far on his claims, the Minister said and added that he would look into the matter once supportive documents are submitted and order a probe if the allegations are prima-facie found to be true.
