Co-operation and Mysuru District in-Charge Minister S.T. Somashekar will be undertaking a two-day tour of Mysuru district on July 5 and 6.
On July 5, he will be attending foot kit distribution programme at Suttur Mutt at 10 am and Kabini Advisory Committee Meeting for the year 2021-22 at Zilla Panchayat at 11 am which will also be attended by Primary & Secondary Education and Sakala Minister S. Suresh Kumar. Later, Somashekar will visit Cauvery Art Gallery at Karnataka Exhibition Authority premises and hold meeting with officials at 3 pm.
On July 6, as part of Dr. Babu Jagjivan Ram’s 35th Death Anniversary, the District Minister will be garlanding the late leader’s statue at City Railway Station Circle at 9.30 am, will launch 15,000 sapling plantation drive of Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) at 9.45 am, inaugurate District Co-operative Central Bank’s new branch at Hebbal at 10.30 am, attends loan distribution programme of Mysuru District Co-operative Bank at Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) premises at 11 am and take part in the programme at SMT Hospital at 12.30 pm during which Oxygen Concentrators worth Rs. 38 lakh will be handed over to the Hospital by Builders’ Association of India (BAI), Mysuru.
