Miscreants assault Kerala man, decamp with cash, ATM card

Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants, who assaulted a man from Kerala have decamped with cash and ATM card belonging to him. The incident took place near Sub-Urban Bus Stand at about 1 am on Feb. 10. The victim, identified as 41-year-old Dhanesh of Vayathur village in Kannur district of Kerala, who arrived from Bengaluru, alighted the bus at the Bus Stand on Feb. 10 at about 1 am and came out of the bus stand to have a smoke before taking a bus to Kerala.

While he was smoking, miscreants, who came in an autorickshaw, assaulted him with wooden piece and stones and snatched his mobile phone, ATM Card, wrist watch and Rs. 1,600 cash and even obtained the PIN number of the ATM Card before fleeing from the spot.

Dhanesh, after taking treatment at a hospital, has lodged a complaint at Lakshmipuram Police Station.
