Mysuru: Miscreants have stolen a gold chain kept in the veranda of a house at Alanahalli here.
The woman, who lost her gold chain, is Chitra. On Nov.21, Chitra, who had given her gold chain weighing about 30 grams for repair as it had got cut, had brought the gold chain from the goldsmith and kept it in a box. As it had become dusk, she went to a dance class to bring back her daughter and had kept the box containing the gold chain in the veranda.
When she returned home with her daughter, she found the box containing the gold chain missing and immediately lodged a complaint at Alanahalli Police Station.
At Nanjangud: Bike-borne miscreants have snatched a gold chain from a woman on R.P. Road in Nanjangud.
The woman, who lost her gold chain weighing about 40 grams, is 62-year-old Rajalakshmi, a resident of R.P. Road 2nd Cross.
She was returning home after buying a mosquito repellent bat from a shop when the bike-borne miscreants yanked off her gold chain and sped away.
Nanjangud Police, who have registered a case, have launched a hunt to nab the miscreants.
