Mysuru: Accusing the Central Government of misusing investigative agencies to undermine the federal structure and target CM Siddaramaiah, a protest meeting has been scheduled for Nov. 7 at the Karnataka Sangha in Delhi. The protest is being organised by Rajya Hindulida Vargagala Jagruta Vedike and AHINDA organisations.
At a press conference held at Pathrakartara Bhavan yesterday, Vedike President K.S. Shivaramu announced that the protest will feature former Rajya Sabha Member L. Hanumanthaiah, Kannada activist Janagere Venkataramaiah, former Kannada Development Authority Chairman Prof. S.G. Siddaramaiah, former Book Authority Chairman Banjagere Jayaprakash, Congress District President Dr. B.J. Vijaykumar and others.
Approximately 200 participants from Mysuru, Bengaluru, Chikkamagaluru and other areas are expected to attend. Following the protest, a memorandum will be submitted to the President, urging intervention.
