MLA alleges conspiracy in transfer of Mysuru DC

Krishnaraja BJP MLA T.S. Srivatsa speaking to media persons at the City BJP Office in Chamarajapuram this morning.

Mysore/Mysuru: Strongly opposing the  transfer of Mysuru Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. K.V. Rajendra at a time when the probe into the Multi-crore MUDA scam in underway, KR MLA T.S. Srivatsa has smelt something fishy in the sudden transfer of Dr. Rajendra.

Reacting to Star of Mysore regarding the transfer of Dr. K.V. Rajendra, Srivatsa said that Dr. Rajendra as Mysuru DC had written a couple of times to the then MUDA Commissioner G.T. Dinesh Kumar asking him not to allot alternative sites under the 50:50 ratio plan. But as there was no action on his directions, Dr. Rajendra wrote to the Government in which he had brought to notice the rampant irregularities that had taken place in MUDA.

As such, the Government should have engaged the DC in the scam probe, he said adding that the sudden transfer of Dr. Rajendra is nothing but a conspiracy, thus raising suspicions among the public. He also charged the Govt. of making efforts to hush up the scam and thus save its skin from public scrutiny and to cover up the rampant irregularities at MUDA.
