Mysore/Mysuru: Continuing his padayatra in his Assembly segment, Chamaraja MLA L. Nagendra visited Mandi Mohalla on Friday.
During his padayatra, Nagendra visited lanes and by-lanes in Uppinakeri and other areas coming under MCC Ward No. 24 and heard public grievances. The MLA sought inputs from officials on the progress of civic works being executed with SFC funding.
On learning about the drinking water problem in the area, Nagendra directed VVWW officials to supply water to the areas from ground-level tank.
Responding to complaints on non-clearance of garbage and wastes, Nagendra directed the officials to address the issue.
The residents complained of facing a lot of inconvenience due to unfilled trenches that were dug up for laying underground cables who also demanded scientific construction of road humps at the junction of Panchamukhi Ganapathy Temple and Kabir Road on New Sayyaji Rao Road, as the spot is prone to frequent accidents.
Nagendra concluded his padayatra by performing guddali puja for Lavaar Basappa Garadimane.
